It’s time to dust off your dice and get ready for a little relaxation after the hectic holiday season. On Friday, January 18th from 6:30-9:00 PM, please join your fellow Fourth Uers, friends and family for our next Game Night. We will be playing games of every stripe — board games, card games, party games — you name it, we’ll play it! Many games are provided, but feel free to bring your favorites as well. All are welcome, so please invite your friends and remember to bring the kids for this intergenerational evening of fun and laughter. Refreshments will be served and donations for pizza are encouraged. Childcare will be provided. For more information, please contact Jennifer Jackson at jenncjack@mac.com or 718.783.8757. We did it! WE LIT UP THE NIGHT! Thank you and congratulations to everyone who participated in 4th U’s auction on Saturday night. 125 members, neighbors and friends attended the exciting event where we raised unprecedented funds for our church and for the Coalition for the Homeless. From the sumptuous dinner prepared by Chef Kim Paradis to the elegant music by members of the Stonewall Chorale to James Wesley’s heavenly singing, the evening was perfect. And who could forget Barry Cherwin, our professional auctioneer? He inspired us to open our wallets and helped us raise ample funds for a gorgeous new chalice and decorative wreathe. The total amount raised will be announced soon.
Just in time to beat the holiday madness! The next 4th U Game Night is on Friday, November 16 from 6:30 - 9:00 PM.
